I am Fritz
M. Brunner, Ph.D.
My experience spans over 20 years with both global
corporations and local not-for-profit organizations.
My B.S. is in Business Administration with a Ph.D. in Psychology.
Corporate
experience includes being vice president and resource
manager for the information technology division of an international
financial services company. I was engaged in financial analysis and IT
implementation project management.
Non-profit experience includes two agencies and responsibility for project management,
assessment, program development and program management for nationally
and internationally recognized agencies.
I have
written articles on life-work balance and crisis response and am working on articles about
leadership values and focused strategy. I presented to an international
conference at Stanford. “The Enneagram as a Team Building Tool,”
illustrated the use of a personality model system in team building.
Coaching
& Consulting
I have been
affiliated with AON Consulting as a coach and consultant, involved with the delivery of a Leadership Development program to Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies. My team delivered a key employee retention and attraction program at SUN Microsystems.
Clients
in the Leadership Development program are located in various
parts of the world: Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Germany,
France, Scotland and various locations within the United States. I coached managers working in all parts of these technology companies; from
R&D, Engineering, Consulting, Marketing, Finance and HR to
Packaging and Plant Management.
Some of the topics include: How do I manage change within my division? How
do I increase influence and visibility for myself and my group? How can
I improve my positive influencing skills? How can I learn to facilitate
interactions that promote creativity & risk taking?
Professional Membership
As a member of
the Strategic Management Society, I attended two recent international conferences. Two particular talks at the Paris conference caught my attention. The first addressed the idea that passion is a prime determinant in organizational success, the second looked at the inter-relationships of culture, leadership and strategy.

The society
"focuses its
attention on the development and disemination of insights on the
strategic management process, as well as fostering contacts and
interchange among ABCs [Academics, Business people and Consultants]
from around the world."
